H2 Technology, a JRE Precision company, has received EC79 Type approval for its 703 Series hydrogen regulator range, allowing it to be used in vehicle mounted delivery systems.
Using minimal moving parts, the 703 Series regulator provides accurate, repeatable pressure control for use with hydrogen fuel cells, dual fuel and direct hydrogen injection systems.
Designed and manufactured in the UK, the regulator was designed to meet exact specifications. The innovation was put under rigorous tests, including cycling at minus 40°C and 150,000 ten second cycles under full hydraulic pressure conditions.
“The regulator uses minimal moving parts and has an extremely robust design to ensure excellent performance over a long service life,” H2 Technology explained in a statement.
“Its small size (130mm long x 30mm diameter) and the fact it only weighs 650 grams, makes it a powerful, small unit that can deliver up to 15kgs per hour.”
The regulator is capable of inlet pressures for 350Bar and 700Bar systems and its output is suitable for fuel cells as well as hybrid and full diesel to hydrogen conversions.
