Hessen hydrogen initiative boosted with two new members

Kasseler Verkehrs- und Versorgungs-GmbH and TÜV Hessen have joined forces with a wider consortium collaborating with the Government of Hessen to form a hydrogen economy in the German state.

Heraeus Precious Metals, Infraserv, Mainova Messer Group, Opel Automobile, Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund and Viessmann Deutschland, are also part of the group that wants to accelerate the roll-out of hydrogen technologies in order for Hesse to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.

Since its formation in March (2021), the group has already received positive feedback and support from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Energy, Transport and Housing – and since, further headways have been made.
