The maritime industry is yet another hard-to-abate mobility sector that could utilise hydrogen as a means to radically decarbonise its operations.
With this, Hexagon Purus Maritime has revealed today (May 9) it has received an inaugural order for hydrogen cylinders for maritime applications.
Totalling €1.1m, Hexagon will provide its type 4 hydrogen cylinders for onboard swappable storage containers for vessels working on inland waterways in Europe.
