Hexagon Purus receives €2.2m order from Hypion for hydrogen distribution systems

Norwegian-headquartered Hexagon Purus has said, through its subsidiary Wystrach, it has received an order from German-based Hypion for hydrogen distribution systems.

Valued at approximately €2.2m ($2.25m), the order for Hexagon’s systems include its type 4 hydrogen cylinders which are set to be used to both transport hydrogen and as mobile storage for Hypion’s planned network of green hydrogen refuelling stations in Germany.

It comes after Hypion said it had received a €4.9m ($5m) grant from the German Government for the procurement of a commercial vehicle hydrogen refuelling station with integrated hydrogen production in Neumünster, Germany.
