Hochbahn has ordered five Solaris Urbino 12 hydrogen buses for operation in Hamburg, Germany.
Under the agreement, the 12m buses powered by energy derived from a 70kW hydrogen fuel cell will be rolled out by Q2 2024 for an undisclosed price.
This follows the recent announcement that Stadtwerke Aschaffenburg Verkehrs ordered 10 Urbino 12-metre hydrogen units and two 18-metre units for an undisclosed price.
