Hy24 CEO: EU must provide regulatory clarity to maintain hydrogen momentum


Europe’s clean energy hesitation following political shifts in the US could stall the hydrogen industry’s momentum.

That was the warning from Hy24 CEO Pierre-Etienne Franc at the World Hydrogen Summit, where he urged policymakers to deliver regulatory certainty amid mounting geopolitical volatility.

Hy24, as the world’s largest hydrogen investment fund, has a front-row seat to global market dynamics. Franc said that despite mounting scepticism about the hydrogen market’s ability to scale, tangible progress was being made.

And he highlighted China as a clear leader in that progress.
