Hydgen and Spectronik to demonstrate decentralised hydrogen ecosystem in Asia


Hydgen plans to deploy its AEM hydrogen electrolysers at Singapore-based fuel cell supplier Spectronik’s demonstration sites in Southeast Asia.

Under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the two companies plan to produce hydrogen on site and likely use it to refuel fuel cell mobility and material handling vehicles.

The partnership aims to demonstrate a decentralised hydrogen ecosystem, with high-purity hydrogen being available exactly where it’s needed.

On LinkedIn, Hydgen called the collaboration a “big step toward real commercial viability of decentralised hydrogen and its use in fuel cell mobility,” and a major milestone in Asia-Pacific’s energy transition.
