Hydrogen Americas Summit kicks off next week

The second Hydrogen Americas Summit, hosted by the Sustainable Energy Council (SEC) and the US Department of Energy (DOE) is set to kick-off next Monday (October 10), in Washington DC, US.

Over two days, the Summit will convene Government representatives, hydrogen and energy stakeholders, service providers, and end-users with the hope of identifying opportunities and to gain insight into the latest projects and policy developments in the region.

Designed to facilitate alliances between industry and Government through interactive panels, project spotlights, and multiple roundtable debates, the two days will see 10 sessions discussing new technology, policy, supply chains, standard, and much more.

Following the recent signing of the Inflation Reduction Act, as well as the US DOE opening applications for the $7bn regional clean hydrogen hub funding programme, the US has seemingly cemented the key role that hydrogen will play in its energy transition.
