Hydrogen Council names Kawasaki’s Kanehana as Co-Chair

The Hydrogen Council has today (Feb 2) announced Yoshinori Kanehana, Chairman of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, as its new Co-Chair.

Marking an important leadership change for the Council, the move will see Kanehana work alongside Tom Linebarger, Chairman and CEO of Cummins, who began his two-year term as Co-Chair in July 2021.

Speaking to H2 View in December (2021), Kanehana shared great support for the Council, stating that he believes it will play a key role in driving the global hydrogen revolution, promoting collaboration, developing the social license and diversifying its applications, as well as demonstrating its advantages to policymakers, investors and community stakeholders.
