Hydrogen-powered HY4 aircraft sets new world-record

A new world record has been achieved by H2FLY with the German-based company revealing its HY4 hydrogen-powered aircraft had achieved an altitude of 7,230 feet.

The aircraft flew 77-miles between Stuttgart and Friedrichshafen on April 12th, marking the first time a hydrogen-electric passenger aircraft has been piloted, between two major airports, the company said.

This is a major development for the hydrogen aviation market in addition to H2FLY as the company situates itself at the forefront to zero-emission aviation market.
