Hyundai has revealed today (September 1) that its hydrogen-powered Nexo has increased its sales in the US by 72% when compared to 2020 results.
These significant results showcase the increasing consciousness for hydrogen mobility in addition to the rate at which the infrastructure has been expanding.
Judging by the results, the popularity in the hydrogen-fuelled Nexo is set to increase with sales projected to be strong in the future.
With increased refuelling stations around North America, demand for hydrogen vehicles will increase boosting sales for hydrogen mobility options.
Nexo is the technological flagship of Hyundai’s growing eco-vehicle portfolio. Based on a dedicated vehicle platform, Nexo is the cleanest, longest-range (380 mile) zero-emissions mid-size SUV on the road.
The vehicle can be refuelled in just five minutes, allowing a consumer lifestyle similar to a comparable gasoline-powered SUV in terms of both range and refuelling speed.
