Electrification has been identified as “not enough” to reach the net zero target in a new report, highlighting the need to accelerate the adoption of alternative clean energy sources such as hydrogen.
Published today by DNV, the report says the pace of the energy transition has not changed the expectation of an increase of 2.3oC in global temperatures by the end of the century.
