Hydrogen successfully powers HS2 construction site in UK

A London, UK construction site for the HS2 (High Speed Two) project has today (July 21) reported successful trials of two zero-emission hydrogen fuel-cell based generators.

HS2 has revealed that the two GeoPura 250kVa Hydrogen Power Units (HPUs) had been trialled over the last year at the Victoria Road Crossover Box in Ealing, London, acting as a replacement for diesel generators to power onsite machinery.
