HyperSolar develops hydrogen unit to produce panels for Gen 1 pilot plant

HyperSolar, Inc., a developer of technology to produce renewable hydrogen using sunlight and water, has developed a working version of its large-scale hydrogen unit.

The new unit will lead to the production of full-sized panels to be included in the California-based company’s Gen 1 pilot plant. The full-sized panels feature ten-unit devices assembled into a large one structure.

HyperSolar Gen 1 technology reaches manufacturing milestone

“Producing an operating version of a large-scale panel is a major milestone in the development of our pilot plant,” said Tim Young, CEO of HyperSolar.
