With hydrogen technology hot on the agenda at H2 View’s North American Virtual Hydrogen Summit, Alex Ivanenko, co-founder and CEO of HyPoint, exhibited the potential hydrogen has in the aviation sector.
The aviation sector requires masses amounts of energy to operate and, with the long distances and requirement for lighter solutions, HyPoint’s hydrogen fuel cells are aiming to tackle this market by providing a unique solution.
Ivanenko told the H2 View event, “Existing fuel cells have the necessary level of energy density, and they potentially could work, but they fall short on specific power requirements and weight of the system.
