IHAC 2020 to be held virtually

As the coronavirus (Covid-19) continues to spread, the organiser behind the first International Hydrogen Aviation Conference (IHAC 2020) has decided to hold the event virtually.

IHAC 2020 was originally planned to take place on 3rd September in Glasgow, Scotland, but Hy-Hybrid Energy today said it will instead move the event online, on the same date.

In a statement, Hy-Hybrid Energy said, “Our first preference was to hold an on-site IHAC 2020. That’s why we were not in the favour of moving it to a virtual event, hence keeping everybody waiting.”

“However, due to the ongoing Covid-19 issues, we have now decided to move the IHAC 2020 to an online (virtual) event because many of our speakers will be coming from countries for which the 14-day quarantine period is still applicable in the UK.”
