Infinite Blue Energy to develop Australia’s ‘first’ large-scale green hydrogen plant for heavy transportation

In a bid to support the growing hydrogen community in Australia, Infinite Blue Energy (IBE) today (March 30) revealed plans to develop Australia’s “first” large-scale green hydrogen plant for heavy transportation.

The project will be based in Northam, Western Australia.

In order to generate green hydrogen, IBE will leverage an existing 11MW solar farm with an additionally 10MW hydrogen electrolyser and battery storage in order to generate four tonnes per day of green hydrogen.
