Infinity and Conjuncta sign MoU to scale hydrogen production in Mauritania

Infinity Power and Conjuncta have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Mauritania for an eight million tonne per year hydrogen project.

The plant, located near the north east of Nouakchott, can reach electrolyser capacity of up to 10GW.

The joint venture between Egypt’s Infinity, German-based Conjuncta and Masdar, Infinity Power Holding, signed the MoU with Mauritania’s Ministry of Petroleum, Mines and Energy, to develop the hydrogen plant over four phases.
