ITM Power’s hydrogen infrastructure keeping key workers moving

ITM Power has been supporting key workers in the UK during the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic by keeping its hydrogen refuelling stations operational.

The energy storage and clean fuel company has stations in and around the London area in Teddington, Cobham on the M25, Beaconsfield on the M40 and Rainham, which are used by the Metropolitan Police and private car firm Green Tomato Cars.

ITM Power electrolysers generate hydrogen fuel on-site, using renewable electricity and water with the fuel dispensed at the station where it is generated.

This means a zero carbon footprint and no use of further transport infrastructure which is under pressure in the current situation.
