Japanese ICT, construction and manufacturing industries to be decarbonised with fuel cell products

Intelligent Energy’s hydrogen fuel cell products will be distributed to ICT, construction and manufacturing industries in Japan as part of a new contract with Teijin Limited.

The two companies today (1st Feb) signed a distribution agreement, through which Teijin hopes to make sales of ¥1bn (€8m) from Intelligent Energy’s IE-Lift™ product range.

Featuring three hydrogen fuel cell products in 1kW, 2.5kW and 4kW, the IE-Lift™ products are modular and scalable, and offer numerous benefits where power is needed off-grid.

A company aiming to support the society of the future, Teijin is confident that hydrogen fuel cells have a big role to play when it comes to reducing Japan’s carbon emissions.
