Keltbray to slash construction site emissions with hydrogen technologies

Construction and engineering contractor Keltbray is relying on hydrogen fuel cell technologies to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040 and cut reliance on diesel amidst rising prices.

The UK-based firm today (March 14) confirmed its effort through a new agreement with AFC Energy that will see the deployment of a hydrogen fuel cell power generator at a construction site, mostly likely based in London.

News of the zero-emissions technology deployment comes after five months of collaboration between the firms, through which they explored the potential deployment of hydrogen, ammonia and methanol technologies.
