Kommunalkredit joins European Clean Hydrogen Alliance

Kommunalkredit, a specialist bank for infrastructure and energy financing, has been named the first Austrian financial institute to join the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance.

Headquartered in Vienna, the bank focuses on sustainable infrastructure projects that support key challenges such as economic growth, strengthening regions, job creation and, above all, climate protection measures.

“We believe in hydrogen as a climate-neutral energy carrier with enormous potential. And we place great emphasis on innovation and sustainability. Which is why it was a logical step for us to join the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance, because the economic and financial system is now called upon to promote economic and sustainable projects that contribute to achieving #mission2030, the Green Deal and climate neutrality,” said Bernd Fislage, Kommunalkredit’s CEO.

The European Clean Hydrogen Alliance is set to facilitate the implementation of actions of the published EU Hydrogen Strategy.
