Korea Railroad Research Institute developing liquid hydrogen locomotive

The Korea Railroad Research Institute is developing a liquid hydrogen-based locomotive.

Such news was unveiled on Tuesday (20th April), with the Institute confirming its ongoing developments of the core technology.

Once complete, it is hoped the train will run at a maximum speed of 150 km/h, and cover more than 1,000km with a single charge.
