Levidian’s methane-to-hydrogen and graphene technology is set to be deployed in mainland Europe for the first time under a new deal.
The British company will supply its LOOP technology to Luxembourg-based construction firm Stugalux to process biomethane produced from food and agricultural waste.
Using a LOOP20 device, the biomethane will be cracked into hydrogen and carbon, with the hydrogen set to be combusted in a turbine to generate electricity, while carbon will be converted to graphene for use by Strugalux for integration into building products.
