Uniper has put money on electro-fuel based on hydrogen being a fuel of the future.
The energy company yesterday confirmed its belief in the carbon neutral fuel, announcing a major investment in Liquid Wind, a Swedish company that produces the eMethanol.
Such investment has now crowned Uniper as Liquid Wind’s second largest investor.
Working alongside Liquid Wind, Uniper hopes to really make a difference. “Our strong expertise within hydrogen will be beneficial for Liquid Wind, at the same time we will also gain knowledge and experience in electro-fuels,” said Johan Svenningsson, CEO of Uniper Sweden.
