Longi ships 10MW of electrolysers for Australian green hydrogen project
Longi Hydrogen has shipped two 5MW alkaline electrolysers from its Chinese factory to an Australian green hydrogen blending project.
The electrolysers are expected to arrive at Australian Gas Infrastructure Group’s (AGIG) Hydrogen Park Murray Valley project in June to produce around 500 tonnes of hydrogen per year for blending into a New South Wales gas grid.
Once operational, the project in Albury-Woodonga will blend up to 10% hydrogen into the gas network and supply up to 40,000 households and 20 industrial users to cut CO2 emissions by around 3,000 tonnes annually.
