Magnum’s green steelmaking products set for US market

Australian mineral exploration firm Magnum Mining has announced today (20th April) a series of agreements that will see steelmaking products produced from green hydrogen and then distributed to the wider US market.

This will be achieved through new agreements signed with both Nevada-based AVF Energy and M Resources Trading, an established steelmaking marketing company.

Following an exclusive green hydrogen supply agreement with AVF Energy, it is believed that the development of Magnum’s magnetite mine is set to be accelerated, in addition to the shortening of the project’s timeline.

The agreement will see AVF fund and build a commercial-scale green hydrogen plant on a Magnum steelmaking site in Nevada.
