MAN Energy Solutions now the majority shareholder of H-TEC SYSTEMS; continues investing in hydrogen

Completing its range across the hydrogen value chain, MAN Energy Solutions has completed the acquisition of almost 99% of the shares in H-TEC SYSTEMS, a German manufacturer of PEM electrolysers.

Announcing the completion today (June 17), MAN Energy Solutions said it has acquired the shares from the previous majority shareholder, GP JOULE, adding to the 40% stake it previously took back in 2019.

The purchase will support MAN Energy Solutions to further align its business towards a range of solutions for decarbonisation.

Commenting on the deal, Dr. Uwe Lauber, CEO at MAN Energy Solutions, said, “Starting with extraction and transport, right through to the use of climate-neutral energy, we offer our customers solutions for using green hydrogen, and are therefore strongly positioned in one of the most important future markets.
