Strengthening its commitment to the development of sustainable solutions, electrotechnology company McKay has joined the New Zealand Hydrogen Association.
McKay is currently delivering the Southern Hemisphere’s first fully electric ferry, which has seen the company develop cutting-edge electric propulsion technology, never before implemented on New Zealand shores.
McKay said it’s keen to drive forwards with a similar innovative approach to hydrogen technologies and looks forward to what the future may bring in the energy arena.
“McKay strives to utilise our position as one of the fastest growing technology companies in the country to make legitimate inroads into the sustainable future for New Zealand,” said Lindsay Faithfull, Managing Director of McKay Group.
“Becoming a member of the New Zealand Hydrogen Association highlights our commitment to research and development in the hydrogen space as we begin the transition to a low emissions economy.”
