McPhy inaugurates hydrogen station in Sorigny

McPhy has inaugurated a new hydrogen station in Sorigny – a first-of-its-kind for the French Centre Val de Loire region.

Located in the heart of the business park ‘Hysoparc’, McFilling 20-350 by McPhy will be dedicated to a fleet of ten utility vehicles in the first stage of the project.

The second phase of the project aims to implement a hydrogen production platform. This electrolyser will be connected to the local green electricity sources (solar park) and will provide, on-site and on-demand, the clean hydrogen needed to recharge the zero emission vehicles of the local communities: utility fleet, but also garbage trucks.

The project enables the Touraine Vallée de l’Indre Community to “embody its hydrogen strategy and position itself among the regions which are precursors to widespread hydrogen clean mobility”.
