Metacon to supply 1MW electrolyser to Morocco green hydrogen pilot
Swedish-based Metacon has been awarded a €1.8m ($2.02m) contract to supply a 1MW electrolyser based on Chinese technology to a green hydrogen pilot project in Morocco.
The unnamed customer is described as “one of the largest wind power investors in Africa” with around 2GW of renewable assets.
Metacon will supply the pressurised alkaline electrolyser plant as a containerised system to the customer site, which will serve as a pilot to refine the technology’s direct integration with wind power.
