Mitsubishi Heavy Industries invests in HydrogenPro

Norway-based HydrogenPro has received a financial investment from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, providing financial stability and certainty for projects utilising green hydrogen.

In an announcement released today, the Japanese engineering company also said it will form a strategic partnership with HydrogenPro to help expand its portfolio and help to develop green hydrogen production plants.

Established in 2013, HydrogenPro has already developed a nine-megawatt class hydrogen production system, with plans now underway toward achieving a 100-megawatt class plant.

The investment made by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries highlights its confidence in both HydrogenPro’s innovations and the green hydrogen market which will be supported by a multitude of electrolyser manufacturers and technologies.
