10 new Solaris Urbino 12 hydrogen buses will soon be running on the streets of Gelderland, the Netherlands.
European bus and trolleybus manufacturer Solaris Bus & Coach today (27th Jan) said it had received an order for the vehicles from Arriva Netherlands.
The announcement follows the Provincial Executive of Gelderland confirming the region’s participation in the European JIVE2 programme which focuses on the promotion of emissions-free public transport.
Gelderland will use the newly ordered buses to replace its diesel vehicles currently in operation.
