Nespresso Switzerland, along with its logistics partner von Bergen SA, has officially put its first branded green hydrogen-powered truck into operation.
This is part of a scheme by Nespresso to reduce its own carbon footprint with the popular coffee company targeting net-zero emissions across its entire supply chain stating that every cup of Nespresso coffee, both for at-home and for professional customers, will be carbon neutral by 2022.
Von Bergen is an active member of H2 mobility Switzerland, a group committed to decarbonisation of the Swiss transportation sector by introducing new refuelling stations and hydrogen trucks.
