New project launched to optimise hydrogen fuel networks in North America

A new hydrogen project has been launched by Azolla Hydrogen and the Ivey Business School aiming to analyse potential pathways for the optimisation of hydrogen fuel networks in North America.

Revealed today (March 14), the Mitacs-funded project will focus on designing and assessing feasible hydrogen fuel networks for the province of Alberta and the state of California as case studies.

The groups said that the objectives of the research project are two-fold. Azolla seeks to analyse the processes and challenges in implementing an environmentally sustainable methanol-based hydrogen production network to supply vehicular fuel demand in North America.
