SwitchH2 Engineering’s innovative solution takes the wastewater produced during the brewing process and runs it through an electrolysis unit, powered by renewable energy, which then splits the wastewater into its elements – hydrogen, oxygen and other organic matter.

Once the elements have been processed, the hydrogen can then be stored and used to pass through a fuel cell to create renewable energy on demand for the brewery or for the heat in beer brewing.
