Less than a week on since it unveiled Britain’s gas grid will be ready to deliver a blend of 20% hydrogen to homes across the country next year (2023), the Energy Networks Association (ENA) has launched a new Next for Net Zero programme.
Unveiled today (Jan 18), the incubator series is set to showcase emerging technologies, such as hydrogen, needed to decarbonise heat, transport and industry to support the UK’s transition to a net zero future.
The programme will be cantered around quarterly events, with the first set to be focused on the North Sea ‘supergid’ and how connections can be combined with hydrogen production.
