The Hydrogen Week 2021 (#WDWN2021) event will begin tomorrow (June 12) and will last until June 20 in which the North of Germany will showcase its hydrogen prowess.
The WDWN2021 event will includes various activities focused on hydrogen with lectures, expert discussions, live streams, films, podcasts, webinars and more.
The event is being hosted by H2 Mobility Germany and being supported by the Clean Energy Partnershiop (CEP), German Hydrogen Association (DWV), hySolution and IHK Nord.
The German states taking part in this include Bremen, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Wester Pomerania, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein.
Several of the northern states of Germany have been working tirelessly to become a clean energy hub and have revealed several large-scale hydrogen projects in the past few years.
Wind power in the north has been seen as a huge opportunity to begin renewable hydrogen production and thus electrolysis units have been installed to ensure that green hydrogen is being produced from the wind.
