Norwegian hydrogen ferry to operate between Bodø and Lofoten from 2025

A new contract revealed today (Jan 27) between Torghatten Nord and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration will see the operation of hydrogen ferries between Bodø and Lofoten from 2025.

This is a key development for the Norwegian hydrogen economy with the nation now set to showcase the potential hydrogen has within the vast maritime industry whilst also increasing demand for the clean energy carrier.
