NPROXX completing hydrogen technology set to be installed in the world’s largest mine haul truck

NPROXX is set to finish the manufacturing of a new, innovative hydrogen fuel tank system that is designed to power the world’s largest mine haul truck at an Anglo American mine in South Africa.

Once the hydrogen fuel tank has been delivered and installed onto the vehicle, it will drive a fuel cell that provides a zero-emission solution for materials hauling that is not currently available on the market.

The hydrogen-powered truck will be trialled at the Anglo American’s Mogalakwena mine, one of the largest open pit platinum group metal mines in the world, with more set to be deployed in various Anglo American operations across the world.
