Japanese-based Obayashi has been selected as the equity partner for a hydrogen refuelling station project being developed by the Ports of Auckland Limited (POAL).
The hydrogen refuelling station aims to support the government in promoting a wider use of hydrogen with POAL being the largest import port in New Zealand.
POAL has been planning to develop a low emissions green hydrogen production facility and refuelling station at the site in the busy city centre to support the government’s aim of promoting wider use of hydrogen.
