Paris trials hydrogen buses

For the next few weeks, Solaris’ hydrogen-fuelled bus Urbino 12 hydrogen will be trialled on the streets of Paris.

The tests will allow public transport company RATP Group to assess the technology’s capabilities in regular passenger traffic in the city.

During trials, the hydrogen buses will be stationed at a depot in the Thiais district.

Marie-Claude Dupuis, RATP Group Deputy General Manager, said, “RATP group, committed to the development of smart and sustainable cities, is proud to collaborate with Solaris to test its Urbino 12 hydrogen bus.”
