Petronas, ENEOS partner to generate 50,000 tonnes of hydrogen each year in Malaysia

50,000 tonnes of hydrogen could be generated each year in Malaysia with energy giants Petronas and ENEOS partnering for a joint feasibility study today (March 11).

The agreement will see the two companies aim to advance studies for both hydrogen production and conversion project which not only will reduce carbon emissions but also generate the clean energy carrier.

This could have a significant impact on the Malaysian energy transition with access to hydrogen technologies allowing for further adoption and innovation in this renewable field.
