Peugeot unveils its first hydrogen vehicle

Peugeot’s first hydrogen vehicle has today (Dec 15) left the production line, marking a landmark moment for the vehicle manufacturer.

Called e-XPERT Hydrogen, the van features a mid-power plug-in hydrogen fuel cell electric system in its engine compartment and underbody and can refill in just three minutes.

The lucky customer: That is WATEA by Michelin, a young subsidiary dedicated to green mobility solutions in the Michelin group, which is set to receive the vehicle by the end of the year.

Set to go into full production at the end of 2021, the van marks the latest symbol of the brand’s “Extended power of choice” strategy, enabling customers to choose from a wide range of engines that are best suited to their specific needs.
