Plagazi finalises EU funding for waste-to-hydrogen plant in Sweden


Plagazi has wrapped up a €29.5m ($33.4m) grant previously awarded by the EU for a waste-to-hydrogen production project in Sweden.

The Gävle Circular Park initiative is expected to process 22.000 tons of waste per year to produce up to 4,000 tonnes of hydrogen.

The project will use patented technology to turn non-recyclable waste into clean hydrogen and captured CO2, helping decarbonise industry and transport.
