Plug Power reports Q2 2020

Plug Power has today released its Q2 2020 results, reporting its highest ever second quarter gross billings totalling $72.4m.

The New York-based company’s Q2 results included multiple one-time items reflecting the closing of two strategic acquisitions and the recently completed financing transactions.

Plug Power also deployed a record of 2,800 GenDrive fuel cell systems and three hydrogen fuelling stations in the quarter, bringing the total historical deployments to 35,000 GenDrive systems and 100 fuelling networks.

Despite the coronavirus pandemic, Plug Power has deployed over 5,000 fuel cells units year-to-date with customers, with over 545.1 million hours of runtime in the field and 29.4 million hydrogen fills performed.
