Port of Amsterdam and Newfoundland & Labrador plan for green hydrogen corridor


The Port of Amsterdam and the government of Newfoundland and Labrador have agreed to address large-scale hydrogen trade routes and identify regulatory and market barriers.

Under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), they aim to establish a transatlantic green hydrogen corridor between Canada and the European port.

The cooperation will aim to assess global hydrogen trade routes and supply chains, address regulatory and market barriers, attract investment for infrastructure, foster cross-sector partnerships and advance early-stage pilot projects to demonstrate feasibility.
