Port of Gothenburg to gain hydrogen refuelling station

Nilsson Energy has today (September 15) announced it is planning to establish a hydrogen refuelling station at the Port of Gothenburg, Sweden to serve heavy-duty vehicles.

Having received funds from the Swedish Energy Agency, Nilsson is expected to install the refuelling station at the entrance of the Gothenburg RoRo (roll-on, roll-off) Terminal, at Port 6, which is anticipated to be completed in September 2023.

H2 View understands the Swedish renewable energy system supplier will also contribute to the construction of a green hydrogen tank, in cooperation with the Port of Gothenburg and other stakeholders.
