Port of Long Beach joins hydrogen partnership to develop market in California

The Port of Long Beach, California, US has joined public-private partnership, the Alliance for Renewable Clean Hydrogen Systems (ARCHES) to help capture newly available federal funding to assist in developing the renewable hydrogen market in California.

It comes as ARCHES plan to serve as the lead applicant for California’s bid to win funding to establish a hydrogen hub under the US Department of Energy’s (DOE) £7bn regional clean hydrogen hub funding programme.
