Vertex Hydrogen has awarded a project management services contract for its 350MW low-carbon hydrogen production plant in Ellesmere Port, UK.
The Essar, Progressive Energy joint venture revealed today (August 23) it had handed the contract to Worley to manage the development of the inside battery limit of the production plant, and all necessary outside battery limit works.
H2 View understands the scope of the contract includes support in creating the required infrastructure to connect feedstocks, products and modifications within the refinery to accept low-carbon hydrogen as a means of powering production.
